I love Disney and I love vintage t-shirts. What a surprise that today's post features both of my desires. Straight out of the 1980s, this shirt is one of my favorite items due to its simple and stylish design.

With the current trend of retro and attraction specific merchandise, I think now is the time Disney returns to manufacturing plain, fun, and attractive shirts like the one pictured above. Many friends, Guests, and fans have lamented the reduction in quality of Disney merch, but things are starting to look up. Excuse the boldness, but I think this shirt would sell like hotcakes if it was brought out property wide tomorrow.

The tag reads medium, but fits more on the small side. For those of you looking to purchase the shirt, the measurements for a medium are: pit to pit-17.5" & neck to bottom-25".

Absolutely my favorite style of Mickey Mouse. Great shirt!
i'm going to buy the disneyland version in preparation for my trip this august.
Not exactly the same, but in early January, disneyshopping.com came out with a very similar version of the shirt--

It doesn't have the raglan sleeves, and the logo goes over Mickey, but still very cool. I purchased one as soon as they came out, and was immediately notified that they were backordered. Here it is 3 months later and I still haven't gotten it---I guess they were more popular then they thought they would be- a good sign! My most recent email said they may ship in April....sigh....
Very cool. I almost bought one like this (NEW) last August that was made to look distressed. Dang it! I always regret the stuff I end up not buying at the parks for YEARS after! LOL!
